Field Trips
Occasionally, throughout the year different grade and/or the entire school go on educational field trips. Most often we charge per family. The costs of the trips vary and are usually from $10.00 to $20.00.
Milk Money
Mild money for 2007-2008 is $7.00 per month. Milk costs have been fairly stable from year to year. This is optional; your child may bring his/her own beverage.
Lunch
Lunch will cost $2.50 per day. This is optional; your child may bring his/her own lunch. Exception: Friday $1.50 per slice of pizza.
Parties
Throughout the year there are usually several class parties, mostly during the celebration of Holidays. The class mothers may ask for a donation of food, money or volunteering in the classroom.
Catholic Schools Week
This is a very special and celebrated week for I.C.R.S. We usually ask the parents for donations in the form of money, food or services.
Supplies
Parents are asked to supply their children with various items, depending upon the grade level they will enter. This request will be forwarded to all parents via your child’s new teacher. (Pens, pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, etc…) Some teachers also ask for a donation of approximately $15.00 for specialized school supplies.
Fund raisers
All families are required to participate in fund raising activities during each school year. The 50/50 raffle and the Dinner Auction are our mandatory fund raisers.
