In a tradition dating back more than 20 years, students at the Immaculate Conception Regional School’s annual Thanksgiving lunch donned paper costumes to enjoy a Thanksgiving lunch before breaking for the holiday. Here, third- and fourth-graders dressed as Pilgrims and American Indians gather for the lunch, which was prepared by school parents right down to the turkey, and enjoyed by the classes as the culmination of a musical and historical observance. It reinforced the classes’ studies of early American history this semester.
